Unreleased slice of joyous Bahamian Balearic obscurity. All the way from 1983.
Mythically rare recordings made by Cay (as in “Sky”) Goflieb in 1983. Born in Zurich
his family moved to the Bahamas when he was a child. Cay was to become a major
creabve force in the island's music scene, starbng a radio stabon, opening a music
studio (Ciccada Studios) and making just one LP.

This 7” features two tracks from his great album (out later in the year possibly) and
offers up two joyous and quite unique tracks painbng a sonic picture of sun soaked
laid back Island life.

“Abaco Cruise” is an instrumental, head-knodding Balearic classic in waibng,
“Daybreak” is a slow driking trip out to sea to catch some tasty fish as the sun comes
up over the horizon. Glorious....
