Rapper E-40, also known as 40 Water and Charlie Hustle, was born on November 15, 1967 in Vallejo, California. He is a highly successful artist from the Bay Area and is renowned for his contribution to hip-hop slang. As the owner of Sick Wid' It Records, he has made a significant impact on the music industry.

E-40's musical journey began as a founding member of the rap group The Click. With twenty-seven studio albums under his belt, he has gained recognition not only through his solo work but also through guest appearances on various rap albums and movie soundtracks. His breakthrough came with his 1995 album "In a Major Way," which expanded his fan base beyond the underground scene.

Throughout his career, E-40 has collaborated with mainstream rappers outside of the Bay Area, further elevating his popularity. In 2006, he achieved even greater success with the release of his single "Tell Me When to Go," produced by Lil Jon.
