The sun-drenched Rotterdam guitar band embraces the darker sides of life for the first time on III - their third album - while venturing into new musical experiments. As always, the song remains at the heart of it all, but plenty unfolds around it. Their familiar melodic guitar pop, reminiscent of Wilco and Real Estate, is enriched with shoegaze, vocoder, and ambient experiments.
