What started as a joke about a streetcar passing in the background of an early demo became a fitting metaphor for the space in which Farré’s music was conceived: beyond the roar of the outside world. This is where Benjamin Noti’s guitar and Mathias Gusset’s piano meet, searching for the proverbial signal amid the noise. The 14-track album took shape from early morning jam sessions, evolving into a soundscape that blends classical influences with contemporary aesthetics. The title track recalls Heitor Villa-Lobos, Specter / Feast flirts with jazzy flamenco, Heatseeker could fit on the Narcos soundtrack, while Encore, Adagio closes with deep ambient textures.
