In 2017 (and again in 2019) Jeremiah Chiu & Marta Sofia Honer traveled to the Aland Islands (the worlds largest archipelago host to some 6,500 islands) in the Baltic Sea (between Sweden and Finland). A serene and strange place where the sun doesn't set in the summer. This album is a slow motion storybook comprised of field recordings, improvisations, string arrangements, electronic treatments, and synthesizer melodies recorded during and after their time on the islands.
