judas priests fifteenth album. angel of retribution marked the return of rob halford, after a 12 year departure from the band. what's more astounding is how awesome the record is. sonically it hits you like 'pain killer' part 2, an absolute hellish blast of fury and soaring melodies. there's a few gentle, epic touches, but here the priest prove why they're one of the most influential metal bands of all time.
