First-ever collection of late superstar Leon Russell’s recordings for his own Paradise Records label. This 4CD collection features expanded editions of his solo albums, collaborations with Mary  Russell and New Grass Revival, and Mary’s own album Heart Of Fire.  Guests include Bobby Womack, Nigel Olsson of The Elton John Band, Maxayn Lewis, Mickey Raphael, The Buckinghams’ Marty Grebb, Baja Marimba Band founder Julius Wechter, electronic music pioneer Roger Linn, and the Chicago horn section.    

Blending rock, R&B, soul, Americana, gospel, pop, jazz, dance, bluegrass, and country, The Paradise Years 1976-1981 includes some of the most richly varied and adventurous music ever made by Russell. The box includes newly remastered editions of Leon and Mary's Wedding Album and Make Love To The Music; Leon's Americana and Life And Love; Mary's Heart Of Fire; and Leon and New Grass Revival's The Live Album, plus seven rare, new-to-CD bonus singles.
