Michael Weston King releases Nothing Can Hurt Me Anymore as the first new
recording in the aftermath of the loss of his granddaughter Bebe in Southport in 2024.

Michael describes it as an instinctive musical reaction to the events of last summer,
influenced and affected by that unimaginable personal loss. "To be honest, it was
almost impossible to write about anything else. I hope I am now creatively exhausted
on the subject, but I think it affects my writing forever, just as indeed, the loss of Bebe
will". It's an impressive album in every possible sense, lyrically, emotionally and musically.
