Drummer, guitarist & singer-songwriter PHIL SEYMOUR came on the
scene with a Top 20 hit with the Dwight Twilley Band called “I’m On Fire” in 1975. After 2 albums with his Tulsa, OK bandmate, SINCERELY (1976)
and TWILLEY DON’T MIND (1977), Phil decided to go solo Initially he struggles to find a foothold but once the new wave hits America, the Phil Seymour Band storms Hollywood and becomes one of the hottest acts on the circuit. Signed to Neil Bogart’s Boardwalk label, by 1981 Phil is riding high at #8 on Billboard's Hot 100 with the self-penned classic 'Precious To Me'. In support of his album, Phil begins to tour the World. At long last these legendary Phil concert recordings have been made available as part of the PS Archive Series. Each disc features a different band, first Phil Seymour & the Feel and then the outfit he put together to support his debut album's release. Special note - Phil’s version of the John Prine / Phil Spector song If You Don't Want My Love
is a rockin' masterpiece. As are Baby Come Back (the Equals song), Dwight Twilley's Looking For The Magic, Phil's own Baby It's You and Bobby Fuller's Let Her Dance - both versions!
