The Colourfield were formed during the Summer of 1983 by former Specials and Fun Boy Three vocalist, Terry Hall along with ex- Swinging Cats organist Toby Lyons, and bassist Karl Shale.

The band released only two albums (Virgins and Philistines 1985, and Deception 1987) and seven singles during 3 year period together. From the eponymous The Colour Field in January 1984 to a cover of The Monkees 'She' in 1987, with the UK the hit single 'Thinking of You'.

This 96 track Box Set includes 42 previously unreleased tracks and brings together two album and their B-Sides and Remixes, newly remastered from the original master tapes. 2CDs full of unreleased demos, outtakes and live concerts. Along with a DVD with all their promo videos and BBC TV performances.

This is packaged in a DVD sized mediabook, with newly conducted interview by John Earls (Classic Pop/Record Collector) with Toby Lyons, Karl Shale and archival interviews with Terry Hall, along with previously unseen photographs and memorabilia.
