Product description

The first British punk band to appear on vinyl, The Damned enjoyed unprecedented early chart success and influenced the hardcore punk and goth movements. 1996’s I’m Alright Jack And The Bean Stalk (aka Not Of This Earth) was a real departure for the re-vamped band that defied easy classification; moving away from the punk and goth of the past, it found Dave Vanian, Rat Scabies and guitarist Alan Lee Shaw channelling psychedelia, new wave and traditional rock, bolstered by pedigree supporters including organist James Taylor and bassist Glen Matlock of the original Pistols. A killer set of non-standard Damned jams.
