Product description

Drawing on 7-inches, cassette demos, and unreleased tracks, an album of mainly unheard, unknown and previously unpublished Punk / Post-Punk from the wild borders between England and Wales straight from the CTR archive - (1979-83)

Featuring: Prefex (not the band that went on to become the Nightingales - but from Welshpool Powys). A new remaster of their only 7" release (1980). The Exhumed from Ludlow Shropshire - A wild and political Punk / commune based band who played a legendary concert at the local town hall The building was later demolished - I'm sure it's not connected. Also- Luxi Trio from Shrewsbury - basically the same line-up as the acclaimed and reissued/bootlegged-The Buzz - with tracks recorded at Foel Studios in Powys early 1980-Previously unheard -from the baked and restored by CTR master-tapes. And more including the Stains (Shrewsbury 1979) and Platinum Needles (Telford) 1979..along with The Bags (Telford) 1982 Slits-esque militant and social refusenik - tones..
