W.I.T.C.H. (We Intend To Cause Havoc) is a garage and psychedelic-rock band from Zambia in the 1970's. They were the first Zambian band to record and release a commercial album. With their unique sound, they captivated audiences with Emanyeo "Jagari" Chanda's powerful lead vocals and Patrick Mwondela's mesmerizing keyboard skills. The current lineup includes Jacco Gardner on bass, Nico Mauskoviç on drums and percussion, Stefan Lilov on guitar, and JJ Whitefield also on guitar. W.I.T.C.H.'s past members have contributed greatly to their success, including Chris "Kims" Mbewe on lead guitar and vocals, Gideon "Giddy King" Mulenga on bass guitar, Boidi "Star MacBoyd" Sinkala on drums and vocals, John "Music" Muma on rhythm guitar and vocals, Paul "Jones" Mumba on keyboards and drums, Christine Jackson as a vocalist in 1980, Peter Lungu as the drummer from 1980-1984, Shaddick Bwalya providing vocals and percussion from 1980-1984.

Archival reissue of the Afro-prog- psych Zamrock masterpiece presented for the first time ever in a yellow vinyl pressing. "Electrified by a diet of James Brown, the Stones and Deep Purple, WITCH were the stadium-filling kings of 70s Zamrock. - **** MOJO. WITCH’s musical arc is contained to a five year span and, in retrospect, is a logical one. The band’s fifth and final rock album - released before the band splintered and an offshoot band traveled to Zimbabwe to record and release disco albums - makes use of traditional Zambian rhythms and folk melodies alongside progressive rock movements. Like Lukombo Vibes before it, it is in the Osibas “afro-rock” style.
