Join us on Friday, April 5th, for a Q&A and signing with Larry "Ratso" Sloman in celebration of his first album release, Stubborn Heart.

Larry “Ratso” Sloman has been a legendary figure around NYC for over four decades, as a writer, actor, composer and editor, Ratso has befriended and worked with some of the most dynamic personalities in popular culture. • He wrote the best-selling biographies for Mike Tyson and Howard Stern. • He’s the co-author of Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis, author of On the Road With Bob Dylan, Reefer Madness and more. • Ratso briefly served as editor of National Lampoon and High Times. • He’s written songs for John Cale and is friends with Bob Dylan, Lee Ranaldo and Penn Jillette. • Now at 70, Ratso is ready to make his musical debut with the release of his excellent first LP Stubborn Heart out April 5. • On Stubborn Heart, Ratso teamed up with Vin Cacchione of Caged Animals and an all starcast of musicians including Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Paul Shapiro, Imani Coppola, Yasmine Hamdan and Eddie Front. • The album features Ratso’s version of his classic for John Cale “Dying on The Vine.”
