Against Me!

Against Me! is an American punk rock band that was formed in 1997 in Naples, Florida. The band was founded by singer and guitarist Laura Jane Grace, who has been a driving force behind their success. Alongside Grace, guitarist James Bowman has also been a key member of the band since 2001. After initially releasing three studio albums through independent record labels, Against Me! signed to Sire Records. In 2011, they took matters into their own hands and launched their own record label called Total Treble Music to release future albums. A significant moment for the band came in 2012 when Laura Jane Grace publicly came out as a transgender woman.
