Impetigo

Impetigo is an American grindcore and death metal band hailing from Illinois. Formed in 1987 by Stevo and Mark, the band emerged from the remnants of Sgt. Rock. Active until 1993, Impetigo made a significant impact on the music scene with their unique sound. In 2007, they reunited for a special one-time gig to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Alongside Carcass, Impetigo is considered one of the pioneers of the goregrind genre.
