Kelis

American singer and songwriter, Kelis, was born on August 21, 1979 in Harlem, New York City. She gained recognition after signing a production deal with the renowned production team The Neptunes. Her debut album "Kaleidoscope" (1999) received critical acclaim. Despite facing setbacks with her second album "Wanderland" (2001), Kelis found success with her third album "Tasty" (2003), which featured the hit single "Milkshake". She continued to evolve her sound with electronic influences in albums like "Flesh Tone" (2010) and explored new musical directions in her sixth studio album "Food" (2014).
