Phil Ranelin

Phil Ranelin is an American jazz trombonist, composer, arranger, producer, educator and bandleader. Born on May 25, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he has made significant contributions to the world of jazz music.

Throughout his career, Phil has collaborated with numerous renowned jazz artists such as Norman Connors, Ella Fitzgerald, Art Pepper, Teddy Edwards and Sarah Vaughan among others. His talent and versatility have allowed him to work with a diverse range of musicians across various projects.
