Varese Sarabande

Varèse Sarabande is a US label that specializes in soundtracks. It was founded in 1978 by Tom Null, Chris Kuchler, and Dub Taylor in Los Angeles, California. The label initially focused on reissuing classical recordings from American Decca, Remington, and JVC labels before releasing its first soundtrack LP in 1978.

In 1985, Varèse began releasing CDs and European releases are manufactured and distributed by Colosseum Music Entertainment GmbH (formerly known as Colosseum Schallplatten GmbH). After being distributed by MCA and Universal Music for several decades, the label was acquired by Concord Music in February 2018 and placed under Concord's reissue label Craft Recordings.

With a rich history spanning over four decades, Varèse Sarabande continues to be a prominent force in the music industry, providing exceptional soundtracks to captivate audiences worldwide.
