Aldous Harding

Singer/songwriter Aldous Harding, born Hannah Harding in Lyttelton near Christchurch, New Zealand, first gained recognition for her gothic folk sound and raw emotional depth. Drawing comparisons to iconic artists like Kate Bush and Scott Walker, Harding's musical journey began at a young age when she made her recording debut on her mother Lorina Harding's award-winning folk album Clean Break. Despite initially dismissing a career in music, she eventually embraced her passion for singing and songwriting while collaborating with fellow musician Nadia Reid. With the release of her self-titled debut album produced by Marlon Williams and Ben Edwards in 2012, Harding quickly established herself as a critically acclaimed artist.

Signing with British independent label 4AD for her sophomore record Party in 2017, Harding worked alongside co-producer John Parish (known for his work with Sparklehorse and PJ Harvey). The album featured standout tracks like "Horizon" and "Imagining My Man," further solidifying Harding's reputation as an exceptional talent. Throughout her career, she has embarked on extensive tours to support her albums and captivate audiences worldwide.
