Elis Regina

Elis Regina Carvalho Costa, known simply as Elis Regina, was an important singer of Brazilian popular music. She gained national recognition in 1965 after her captivating performance of "Arrastão" in the TV Excelsior festival song contest. With her perfect vocalization and personal interpretation, Elis became renowned for her outstanding performances on shows like O Fino da Bossa.
