Fleur
Flёur (original title is with the Russian "ё") was formed in February, 2000 when Olga Pulatova (a piano, a vocal, the author of songs) and Elena Vojnarovskaja (the guitar, a vocal, the author of songs) started rehearsing together. The group officially considers its birthday on March 8, 2000 when Julia Zemljanaja (flute) joined them.
The name "Flëur" holds different meanings for different people - some see it as a flower in French translation, others relate it to Baudelaire's "Fleurs du mal" (Flowers of evil), and some simply associate it with music. In Russian, the word "Flëur" carries the remarkable significance of "a cover of mystery".
