John Coltrane
John Coltrane was an American saxophonist and jazz composer. He was one of the most influential musicians of the twentieth century, known for his contributions to bebop, hardbop, modal jazz, and free jazz. Coltrane recorded over fifty albums as a leader and collaborated with legendary artists such as Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk. His music evolved to become increasingly spiritual throughout his life.
