Keni Burke

Keni Burke is a talented bassist, keyboardist, songwriter, and producer. Born on September 28, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A., he began his career as the bass player for the Five Stairsteps. After the group disbanded, he embarked on a successful solo career and became a sought-after session musician. His track "Risin' To The Top" became an anthem for UK soulsters in the 80s.
