Kenny Cox

Kenny Cox was a highly influential jazz piano player, composer, and label owner from Detroit, Michigan. Born on November 8, 1940, he made significant contributions to the jazz scene throughout his career. In 1968, Cox founded the renowned Detroit jazz label. He sadly passed away on December 19, 2008 in his hometown.
