Kris Kristofferson

Kris Kristofferson is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born on June 22, 1936 in Brownsville, Texas. Known for his iconic compositions such as "Me And Bobby McGee," "For The Good Times," and "Help Me Make It Through the Night," Kristofferson has established himself as both a respected recording artist and songwriter.

In 2004, he was honored with induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Despite his success in the country music scene, Kristofferson's left-wing views have made him somewhat of a misfit among his peers.

Throughout his personal life, Kris Kristofferson has been married twice. His second marriage was to Rita Coolidge from 1973 to 1980. Since 1983, he has been married to Lisa Kristofferson (formerly Meyers), with whom he shares five children including their daughter Kelly Marie Kristofferson.
