Mark Mothersbaugh

Mark Mothersbaugh is an American musician, composer, singer, and painter. Born on May 18, 1950 in Akron, Ohio, USA, he is the son of Robert L. Mothersbaugh and brother of Bob Mothersbaugh and Jim Mothersbaugh.

In 1973, Mark formed Devo with Gerald V. Casale. During a hiatus between 1984-1988, he released instrumental solo albums in his Musik For Insomniaks series and embarked on a successful career as a soundtrack artist. His first foray into film scoring was Pee-Wee's Playhouse in 1986.

Since then, Mark has continued to score films and has established his own music production company called Mutato Muzika. He has also showcased his talent as a painter alongside his musical endeavors.
