Mike Oldfield

Mike Oldfield is an English multi-instrumentalist musician and composer, known for his unique blend of progressive rock, folk, ethnic or world music, classical music, electronic music, New Age, and dance. His elaborate and complex compositions have made him a highly respected figure in the music industry.

Oldfield rose to fame with his hit 1973 album Tubular Bells, which not only showcased his talent but also established Virgin Records as a major record label. He further solidified his success with the release of his 1983 hit single "Moonlight Shadow" and his rendition of the Christmas piece "In Dulci Jubilo".

In addition to being a renowned artist in his own right, Mike Oldfield comes from a talented musical family. He is the brother of Terry Oldfield and Sally Oldfield.
