Royal Trux

Royal Trux is an American alternative rock band that was originally active from 1987 to 2001. The band, founded by Neil Hagerty and Jennifer Herrema, reunited in 2015 and signed with Fat Possum records in 2018. However, as of 2019, Hagerty has left the band once again after not approving of their finished album "White Stuff." Throughout their career, Royal Trux has been known for their unique sound and experimental approach to music.

With influences ranging from punk to blues, Royal Trux has carved out a distinct place in the alternative rock scene. Their music often combines elements of noise rock, garage rock, and psychedelic rock to create a raw and gritty sound that sets them apart from other bands. Known for their energetic live performances, the duo's chemistry on stage is palpable.

Often compared to artists such as *Pussy Galore*, *Pere Ubu*, and *The Jesus Lizard*, Royal Trux has influenced a generation of musicians with their unconventional style. With albums like "Twin Infinitives" and "Accelerator," they have pushed boundaries and challenged traditional notions of what rock music can be.
