The Maccabees

The Maccabees were a London-based band formed in 2004. Comprising of Orlando Weeks on vocals, Hugo White and Felix White on guitars and vocals, Rupert Jarvis on bass, and Sam Doyle on drums. Former drummer Robert Dylan Thomas left the band in 2008. On August 8th, 2016, they announced their breakup and played their final farewell shows in Manchester and London in June/July 2017.

With their unique blend of indie rock sound, The Maccabees gained a dedicated following throughout their career. Known for their captivating live performances and heartfelt lyrics, they created music that resonated with fans worldwide.

Throughout their time together as a band, The Maccabees released four studio albums including "Colour It In," "Wall of Arms," "Given to the Wild," which was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize award, and "Marks to Prove It." Their discography showcases their evolution as musicians while maintaining a distinct sound that set them apart from other bands in the industry.
