Three 6 Mafia

Three 6 Mafia is an American hip-hop group hailing from Memphis, Tennessee. Established in 1991 by DJ Paul (Paul Beauregard), Juicy J (Jordan Houston), and Lord Infamous (Ricky Dunigan), the group initially went by the names "Backyard Posse" and "Triple Six Mafia". They gained recognition for their horrorcore music and released EPs through their own record company, Prophet Entertainment. Later, they formed their own label called Hypnotize Minds.

Throughout their career, Three 6 Mafia not only achieved mainstream success but also played a significant role in launching the careers of other rappers. Prior to releasing their album "Mystic Stylez", they added Koopsta Knicca (Robert Cooper), Gangsta Boo (Lola Mitchell), and Crunchy Black (Darnell Carlton) to the lineup.

Evolving over time, Three 6 Mafia started as an underground hardcore rap sensation with a horror-themed approach. However, they eventually enjoyed mainstream success, winning an Oscar and producing major hits. The core members of the group are Juicy J and DJ Paul who both serve as producers and rappers. Notable affiliates have included Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo, Lord Infamous, Koopsta Knicca, La' Chat, Project Pat, Killa Klan Kaze, Indo G among others.
