Brian Eno

Brian Eno is an electronic musician and producer known for his multifaceted interests outside of music, especially in technology. He was born on May 15, 1948 in Woodbridge, Suffolk, UK.

Eno started his musical career with the band Roxy Music and went on to produce a number of highly eclectic and ambient electronic and acoustic albums. He is widely credited with coining the term "ambient music" through his series of albums recorded between 1978 and 1982.

In addition to his solo work, Eno has collaborated with artists such as David Byrne, David Bowie, Robert Fripp, Robert Wyatt, Jon Hassell, and Cluster. He has also worked as a producer for bands like U2, James, Coldplay, among others. Eno's contributions to music have earned him numerous accolades including Best Producer at the BRIT awards in 1994 and 1996.
