Daft Punk

Daft Punk were a French electronic music duo formed in 1993. The group consisted of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Prior to forming Daft Punk, the two musicians were part of the rock band Darlin', along with Laurent Brancowitz. After Brancowitz left to join Phoenix, Bangalter and de Homem-Christo came together to create their iconic sound as Daft Punk. On February 22, 2021, it was announced that they had disbanded for unknown reasons.

With their innovative approach to electronic music, Daft Punk became pioneers in the genre. They gained worldwide recognition for their unique blend of house, funk, and disco elements. Their breakthrough album "Homework" showcased their talent and established them as influential figures in the industry.

Throughout their career, Daft Punk released several critically acclaimed albums including "Discovery," "Human After All," and "Random Access Memories." They collaborated with various artists such as Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, further expanding their musical reach.
