Album artwork for Ecstasy by Disclosure

Disclosure are back with brand new music. The EP’s title track Ecstasy is a song that came into existence early 2019 during a writing session at Guy’s house in London. They were curiously chopping up samples from various 70s disco and soul records when suddenly, Fantasy by Aquarium Dream gave them the exact thing they were searching for. This song is made entirely to get a human being to their feet and directly to the dance floor. Tondo samples the great Cameroonian musician Eko Roosevelt. If this track is anything, it’s fast, punchy and above all... fun.

Third track Expressing What Matters samples the legendary song Lowdown by Boz Scaggs. They focussed on those wonderful backing vocals that permeate through the original and give it such soul. It ended up becoming the focal point of the entire track… being chopped and skewed to their limit. Etran once again, explores further African flavours with the bulk of the song sampling Niger-based band Etran Finatawa. Hook heavy Get Close is the final cut and is an older song that never saw the light of day.
