Eden Ahbez

Eden Ahbez (1908-1995) was an influential American songwriter and recording artist of the 1940s-1960s. His unique lifestyle in California had a profound impact on the hippie movement, earning him the nickname "ahbe" among friends. Ahbez's most notable achievement was composing the iconic song "Nature Boy," which topped the charts for eight weeks in 1948 by Nat "King" Cole and has since become a beloved pop and jazz standard.
