Erika de Casier
Erika de Casier is a Danish singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Portugal to a Belgian mother and Cape Verdean father, she moved to Denmark at a young age. Growing up in the small town of Ribe, Erika discovered her passion for music early on.
At 17, she joined a school choir and band, honing her skills as a vocalist. After finishing school and relocating to Copenhagen, Erika began producing her own beats and adding her captivating vocals to create unique compositions.
In 2014, Erika became one half of the R&B duo Saint Cava. However, it was in September 2017 that she made her mark as an independent artist with the release of her debut single "What U Wanna Do." The following year saw the launch of her debut album "Essentials," which showcased her talents as both a composer and producer.
Erika's distinct sound blends elements of R&B, pop, and electronic music. Her soulful voice combined with infectious beats creates an immersive listening experience. With influences ranging from Qendresa to Kelela, Erika has carved out a unique space within the music industry.
