Foals is an English rock band hailing from Oxford, England. Formed in 2005, they have quickly risen to prominence with their unique blend of indie rock and math rock influences.
Known for their energetic live performances and intricate musical arrangements, Foals have captivated audiences around the world. Their dynamic soundscapes and thought-provoking lyrics make them a standout presence in the music industry.

Warner Bros. Records, founded in 1958 by Jack Warner, started as a soundtrack factory for Warner Bros. movie studios. The label has used several pressing facilities including *Capitol Records* and *Columbia Pressings*. Throughout its history, Warner Bros. has had different label designs for mono LPs and stereo LPs. From grey labels with black WB Shield to gold labels with Vitaphonic Long Play or Stereo wording at the bottom; from green labels featuring the W7 logo to palm trees labels without any address mentioned; and finally transitioning to tan labels with narrow horizontal lines before settling on white labels with large WB shield and ghosted gray shields floating in the background since 1983.

To determine first pressings of US LPs on this label, collectors can look out for specific details such as color variations on the label design or Saul Bass W logo on sleeves introduced after 1975. The presence or absence of certain addresses on palm trees labels also helps identify different pressings over time.

From their early days hosting parties in Oxford through to the huge success of their two-part Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost album, Foals have consistently explored their interest in dance and electronica. Now the band chart the most essential remixes from their career so far as they share the new remix package Collected Reworks Vol 1.

The tracks featured on Collected Reworks, are a compilation from an eclectic range of artists who have uncovered new angles to Foals’ discography. It includes one of their earliest remixes, from Ewan Pearson who blends Balearic bliss into Olympic Airways, as well as Solumun’s huge version of Late Night, which has been viewed over 50 million times at YouTube. Another standout moment is Hot Chip’s inventive interpretation of My Number.

Another standout is Hot Since 82’s brand new remix of Into The Surf. The tech house producer / DJ behind Buggin’ and Restless subverts the track from its original desolate beauty into something fresh and invigorating. The relentless driving beat maximises its energy throughout its eight minute duration, while its progressive leanings are given some unexpected throwback flavour with ‘80s style sax.
