Fumio Miyashita, also known as Fumio, was a highly productive new age artist from Japan. He gained recognition as a founding member of Far Out and Far East Family Band, influential progressive/space rock bands in the mid-'70s. Following the breakup of these groups, Miyashita embarked on a solo career in electronic music and soundtrack composition. Eventually, he shifted his focus to creating music for healing, meditation, therapy, and sleep.
