James Blunt

James Blunt, born on 22 February 1974 in Tidworth, Wiltshire, England, is an English singer-songwriter and former army officer. He gained fame in 2005 with his debut album "Back to Bedlam" and hit singles like "You're Beautiful" and "Goodbye My Lover". Blunt's music style combines acoustic-tinged pop, rock, and folk. With over 18 million albums sold worldwide, his debut album is the best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK.

Prior to his music career, Blunt served as an officer in the British Army's Life Guards regiment during the Kosovo conflict in 1999. It was during this time that he became familiar with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF or "Doctors Without Borders") and has since supported them through meet-and-greet auctions at his concerts.

In addition to winning multiple awards including Brit Awards and MTV Video Music Awards, Blunt has released several successful albums such as "All the Lost Souls" (2007) and "Some Kind of Trouble" (2010). His unique blend of genres continues to captivate audiences around the world.
