Klaxons

Klaxons were a leading band in the UK's 'Nu-Rave' movement, known for their unique blend of indie-rock guitars and early-90s rave influences. The band consisted of Jamie Reynolds on vocals and bass guitar, James Righton on vocals and keyboards/synthesizers, Simon Taylor (aka "Captain Strobe") on guitar and backing vocals, and Steffan Halperin on drums for live shows. In 2007, Klaxons won the prestigious Mercury Music Prize despite being considered underdogs. They split up in 2014 after their last live gigs in early 2015.
