Kurt Vonnegut was a German-American cult novelist and author, born on November 11th, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. He is best known for his works such as 'Slaughterhouse-Five', 'Cat's Cradle', and 'Breakfast Of Champions'. Vonnegut often referenced the fictional novelist Kilgore Trout in his works, which led to the publication of the quasi-science fiction pulp novel 'Venus On The Half-Shell' by Trout. Known for his underlying humor and use of spoofs or 'Foma', Vonnegut's work is exemplified in his publication 'Wampeters, Foma & Granfaloons' released in 1975.
