Ace

Ace Records is a UK label that was conceived in the 70s by Ted Carroll, Roger Armstrong, and Trevor Churchill. Originally selling secondhand 45s on a London market stall, they later set up Chiswick Records and focused on releasing work by "pub rock" bands. As the 80s arrived, Ace shifted its focus to the reissue market and became known as Ace Records of Camden Town. Today, Ace has established itself as a reputable name in the reissue market with numerous sub-labels catering to various musical styles.

With an extensive catalog spanning R&B, blues, soul, funk, jazz, rock 'n' roll, folk, country, punk, rockabilly, psychobilly, cajun,z ydeco, and world music,Ace offers something for every music lover. In addition to their own releases,Ace frequently licenses and acquires labels like Flair and Modern which allows them to reissue original releases and compile new ones in different formats.

It's worth noting that LP releases from Ace have been reissued under the same cat# but with different label designs over time. When submitting requests or searching for specific releases,it's important to include both an indication of the label design present and supporting images if possible.
