The label's website was initially launched on October 5th, 2006, but temporarily went offline in 2011. However, it made a comeback in 2014 as the reissue arm of the Mexican Summer label group. In addition to their musical endeavors, Anthology Recordings expanded into publishing books with the introduction of Anthology Editions in 2016.
