Atp

ATP (the acronym of All Tomorrow's Parties) is a label associated with the Music Festivals held in the UK, New York City, and Los Angeles. Started in 1999 by London concert promoters Barry Hogan and Helen Cottage of Foundation, ATP was created as an alternative to corporate festivals. The festival invites curators from various fields to choose a selection of bands and performers that reflect their record collection or people they feel influenced by. Artists such as *Autechre*, *Boards of Canada*, *Aphex Twin*, *Múm*, and many more have graced the festival line-ups over the years.

The concept behind ATP Festival can be best described as 'the ultimate mixtape' according to Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth. Bored with mainstream festivals, Hogan and Cottage wanted to design an event that they personally would want to attend. They aimed for a unique experience where each curator brings their own musical taste and influences into play.

Throughout its history, ATP has hosted renowned artists like *Public Enemy*, *Kool Keith*, *Sun Ra Arkestra*, *Television*, *Lambchop*, *Bonnie Prince Billy*, and many others who have left their mark on the festival stage. With diverse genres ranging from electronic music to experimental rock, ATP continues to provide a platform for both established acts like *Sonic Youth* and emerging talents.
