Nude

Nude Records, founded by Scotsman Saul Galpern in 1991, is a renowned music label based in northwest London. With the successful launch of Suede's debut album in 1993, Nude Records quickly gained recognition and went on to sign talented artists such as Sharkboy, Goya Dress, Geneva, and Billy MacKenzie. Despite facing challenges that led to voluntary liquidation near its 10th anniversary, the label's legacy continued through Sony Music and One Little Indian. In 2016, Nude Records was re-launched and remains an active force in the music industry.

Throughout its history, Nude Records has been instrumental in discovering and nurturing exceptional talent. The label's early success with Suede paved the way for other notable signings who have left their mark on the industry. Artists like *Ultrasound*, *Mainstream*, and *Black Box Recorder* have contributed to the diverse roster of Nude Records.

While faced with difficulties along the way, including changes in ownership and restructuring, Nude Records has proven its resilience by adapting to new circumstances. The label continues to support emerging artists while also celebrating its rich history with iconic acts like Suede. As it enters a new era of creativity and innovation under its re-launch in 2016, Nude Records remains committed to delivering outstanding music experiences for fans worldwide.
