Record Makers

Record Makers is a music label that was founded in 2000 by Air (Nicolas Godin & Jean-Benoît Dunckel) along with their associates Marc Teissier du Cros and Stéphane Elfassi. With a focus on electronic and alternative music, the label quickly gained recognition for its unique sound and innovative approach to production.

Throughout its history, Record Makers has been home to some of the most influential artists in the industry. From *Air* themselves to other notable acts such as Sebastien Tellier, Kavinsky, and Charlotte Gainsbourg, the label has consistently delivered groundbreaking music that pushes boundaries and defies genres.

In 2004, Air decided to step away from their roles within Record Makers. However, this did not hinder the label's success or creative output. Under the continued guidance of Marc Teissier du Cros and Stéphane Elfassi, Record Makers has continued to thrive and evolve, remaining at the forefront of cutting-edge music.
