Kwaidan Records

Kwaidan Records is a music label founded by French producer and composer Marc Collin in the late 90's. Initially, the label focused on producing and releasing Collin's own projects such as Volga Select, Dirty Jesus, Les Petroleuses, Suburbia, and more. However, after the global success of the Nouvelle Vague project in 2004, Kwaidan expanded its scope and began working with various artists including Phoebe Killdeer, Mélanie Pain, Maxence Cyrin, Nicolas Comment, Olga Kouklaki, Marina Celeste and many others.

Inspired by Japanese culture and named after the movie "Kobayashi Takiji," Kwaidan strives to follow in the footsteps of iconic indie labels from the 80s like Les Disques Du Crépuscule, Crammed Discs and Factory Records. With a commitment to diverse genres of music, Kwaidan continues to produce and release groundbreaking music.

Looking towards the future, Kwaidan has exciting plans for new releases in 2012 featuring talented artists such as Yasmine Hamdan, Blackout Babies, AnnaO, Jenia Lubich, Karina Zeviani and Marc Collin's latest project "The Cold Wave Station."
