Macabre

American Death/Grind unit Macabre was formed in 1985 by Nefarious (bass, vocals), Corporate Death (guitar, vocals) and Dennis the Menace (drums) in Chicago, Illinois. They released their first mini-LP titled "Grim Reality" on their own label Decomposed Records in 1987. The following year, they released their first and only demo "Shitlist", which was later re-released as a 7" EP on Gore Records in 1990.

In 1989, Macabre released their debut LP named "Gloom" on Vinyl Solution and re-released "Grim Reality" on vinyl with two bonus tracks. The album "Gloom" was also released on CD with the "Grim Reality" mini-LP by Vinyl Solution in 1990. In September of 1992, they signed to Nuclear Blast and recorded their second full-length album "Sinister Slaughter", which was released in 1993. Prior to that, the EP "Nightstalker" had been released earlier in the same year on Relapse Records.

Macabre continued releasing music throughout the years, including the EPs "Behind The Wall Of Sleep" in 1995 and "Unabomber" in 1999. In the year 2000, they released their third full-length album titled "Dahmer". Between this release and
