Mighty Baby

Mighty Baby was a UK hippy prog outfit formed in 1968 by ex-members of The Action. They were active until 1971 and their music bridged many rock/prog styles, incorporating blues and folk elements. Some compare them to bands like Wishbone Ash, early Hawkwind, and Magic Muscle. Their music was also influenced by Muslim philosophy. They are often referred to as the British Grateful Dead.

One of Mighty Baby's most well-known recordings is "A Blanket In My Muesli," a live jam session similar to the freeform style of Man or The Grateful Dead. Additional material in this vein can be found on the "Live In The Attic" and "Tasting The Life: Live 1971" archive collections.

If you're a fan of psychedelic rock with diverse influences, Mighty Baby's music is sure to captivate you with its unique blend of genres.
