Nathan Fake

Nathan Fake is a British electronic musician and producer hailing from King's Lynn, Norfolk. With five full-length albums, numerous EPs, and remix commissions under his belt, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the industry. Since 2016, Nathan has been signed by Ninja Tune and currently resides in Norwich. His latest record, [i]Blizzards[/i], was released in April 2020 through Cambria Instruments label, which he co-founded in 2014.

Having grown up in Norfolk, Nathan Fake developed a passion for music during high school. Inspired by renowned IDM acts like Aphex Twin and Orbital that he heard on the radio, he delved deeper into their work by reading about them in music magazines. In 2003, Nathan caught the attention of James Holden who signed him to Border Community label. This led to the release of his debut EP [i]Outhouse[/i]. Subsequently, Nathan continued to release records on various labels such as Saw Recordings and Traum Schallplatten.

In addition to his solo work, Nathan Fake co-founded Cambria Instruments with Wesley Matsell in 2014. The label presented several releases including Nathan's own EP [i]Glaive[/i]. Known for his remixing skills, Nathan has collaborated with notable artists such as Radiohead and Jon Hopkins while working with respected labels like Warp Records and Kompakt.
